Everyone Loves a Tax Discount! Take advantage of the 2023 Arkansas Tax-Free Holiday!
It’s time to go shopping! If you live in the State of Arkansas and purchase qualified items, you will be exempt from sales tax for two days, Saturday, August 5, and Sunday, August 6. The exemption from taxes includes certain electronic devices, school supplies, school art supplies, school instructional materials, and clothing.
You might be surprised at some of the items on the tax-free holiday list. Computers, baby items (including diapers), and formal wear (including wedding apparel made the long list.
Retailers are required to participate, including online vendors, if the item(s) is/are ordered during the specified time and shipped to Arkansas.
The Arkansas Tax-Free Holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, August 6.
No doubt, almost everyone can find items they want or need on the Arkansas Tax-Free Holiday List! So what are you waiting for? As they say, “Shop till you drop!”
