As you probably recall, on Saturday morning, June 25, hundreds of members of the Defenders Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club rode down DeSoto Boulevard from our West Gate to East Gate. Hot Springs Village members and sponsored guests came out in droves to witness this event, lining DeSoto at various spots to pay tribute to this club of current and retired military personnel, law enforcement officers, and emergency services personnel as they proudly rode their big machines through our Village.
Paul SANDMAN Calcagno, President of the Diamond Lakes Chapter, sent the following letter of appreciation to the Hot Springs Village POA for the support and enthusiasm shown by Villagers to the riders. This letter was written in August, but we just became aware of the communication and thought it was important for Villagers to know the positive impact they made on the Defenders Motorcycle Club riders who rode the length of DeSoto Boulevard on July 25, 2022.
