In this edition of “Ask Matt,” Hot Springs Village POA Associate Director of Public Services answers a question about POA mowing and grass clippings left on the road.
Resident: I noticed the POA has begun mowing, and just like last year grass clippings are getting on the road. Why can’t the POA blow the grass clippings off the road?
Matt: We understand the grass clippings may be unsightly, but normal traffic will blow the grass clippings off the road. We have well over 400 miles of road to mow and have multiple mowers involved at one time. It isn’t feasible for us to blow grass clippings off the road with our limited staff, and it would also be a safety concern for the individual who is blowing off the road. Thank you.
