Chapter One, Article Five Property Owners Association Identification Cards Policy – Vice-Chair Belair
Vice-chair, Gary Belair, said, “This is listed on the Agenda as a proposal, but I am not going to make a proposal. I am going to say this needs to be discussed. The discussion involves amending Chapter One, Article Five of the Property Owners’ Association Identification Card.”
This regards changing the language of the policy to define a long-term renter as someone who has signed a lease for six months or greater, making this person eligible for a long-term renter card. This has to do with the eligibility for the guest rate on fees. A short-term renter would be anyone renting for six months or less.
This issue appears to need some additional work and discussion and a vote was not taken.

Chapter One, Article Four Refund Policy – Director McLeod
This motion had to do with giving employees a pro-rated refund with a hire date after the date of purchase of the annual fee and within the same calendar year. This is for people who have paid in advance for amenities and then are subsequently hired by the POA and are then eligible to receive an employee discount. The refund will be in the form of a credit to the employee’s POA account, versus a cash refund.
The motion passed unanimously.
Chapter Nine, Article Three Purchasing Policy – Vice-Chair Belair
This motion was necessary because of policy changes and is just a housekeeping effort. The motion passed unanimously.
Amendment to Articles of Incorporation – Director Omohundro
This motion was made to replace previous GM, John Paul with GM Kelly Hale as a registered agent of the POA. The motion passed unanimously.
