Girls Gotta Have Fun!
New or experienced lady golfers, come join Lady Duffers. We play on Wednesdays from April through October with FUN games and great comradery. The home course is Coronado, with four (4) or five (5) away games at other Hot Springs Village courses. Play is governed by the Revised Rules of Golf as approved by USGA and any local rules applying to HSV courses.
The object of the Lady Duffers is to promote the pleasure and FUN of golfing recreation to its members and is supported solely by membership fees. This is a non-profit association with no employees.
History of the Lady Duffers
Joan Lyngen, along with some of her friends who wanted to be more active in this Village pastime, founded Lady Duffers in 1974. Forty women signed up to play in the 1975 season and membership grew as more women discovered that golf without pressure was FUN. As the Village grew, so did the Golf Associations, including the formation of additional leagues. Maintaining a 100-plus membership, the Lady Duffers take pride in being a pioneer for women’s golf in this village.
