Hot Springs Village Area Chamber of Commerce 6-22-2022

The Hot Springs Village Area Chamber of Commerce has monthly Partner Up Luncheons, hosted by chamber members, for the purpose of networking and sharing information for a stronger business community.

On June 6, 2022, the HSV Area Chamber of Commerce participated in a Partner Up Luncheon at The Brookfield Assisted Living and Memory Care, located at 205 Sawtooth Oak Street in Hot Springs.

The HSV Chamber Ambassadors attending the event were Brenda Langley (HSV RE/MAX); Alice Weatherly (Trademark HSV Real Estate); Deb Siebert (Hot Springs Village Real Estate); Donna Hoffman (HSV KVRE – 92.9); and newly appointed Ambassador, Doug Bronsink (Shelter Insurance).

Additionally, in attendance were George Langley, and Cheryl Fullington, Administrative Assistant at the HSV Chamber.

The Brookfield Assisted Living and Memory Care facility has an immaculately maintained and manicured exterior and spacious and well-appointed interior. When first entering the facility, there is a large sitting room/lobby to the left, designed for the comfort of both clients and visitors. A large screen television is available for viewing. Off to the right of the sitting room, sits a spacious dining room, which is where the Chamber met. (At the bottom of this article there is a link to “TOUR THE FACILITY.”

An abundant and delicious Mexican buffet was served to the chamber visitors. The attentive and friendly staff brought out large family-style servings of freshly-prepared Mexican fare. After enjoying a bountiful and scrumptious meal, Julia Scott, Brookfield Administrator, introduced key staff.

Happy to host the luncheon, Scott said there are 41 rooms at Brookfield. They serve three meals a day and snacks are also available, Additionally, the facility has a beauty shop, and on-site therapists for physical, speech, and occupational purposes. There are different activities daily, such as bingo, outings, movies, shopping, lunches out, and other fun pursuits like crafts.

The facility works towards the goal of helping the clients achieve as much independence as possible and believes in high quality of life.

  • Assisted Living and Memory Care with two levels of care.
    • Level 1 – Level 1 consists of medication assistance, a supervised health program, every two-hour checks, and much more.
    • Level 2 – Level 2 consists of all Level 1 services in addition to dressing, grooming, bathing, and more.
  • Home Away from Home – Respite Care
    • Respite Care is designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the client in order to give the regular caregiver a break.
  • Transition Program – A Bridge to Home
    • This program is designed to help the client rebuild their confidence in order to transition back home after being admitted to the hospital because of an illness, fall, surgery, or injury.
