Traditionally, for at least ten years, the Hot Springs Village Lake Cortez shoreliners have held a French Horn Concert Parade via boat. This year the parade begins and ends at the Cortez Pavilion at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 13. There will be around seven French horn players and the musical group will stop at seven docks on the lake, serenading the property owners and guests. Before setting off from the Cortez Pavilion the musicians will play three songs. Below is a map of the Lake Cortez coves and also a map showing the parade route.
The Lake Cortez group welcomes all Villagers to join them in the event. You need not live on Lake Cortez. You can participate in the event by arriving at the pavilion before 6:00 PM and watching the launch and return at the Cortez Pavilion. There will also be three songs played when the boats return to the pavilion. See the songs below.
