Effective at today’s Board Meeting, Pam Avila has resigned from the Board. Noting that she has accepted a position at the POA. Avila stated:
“I could say this was a difficult decision because during my tenure on the Board I have come to know many great people and dedicated Board members. I’m admittedly proud of what we’ve accomplished as a Board in a relatively short time. But the decision was also easy because I’ve been offered the opportunity to do what I believe will be an important part of our future HSV success – communicating to property owners and to so many other groups beyond the Village gates about this great place we all call ‘home’.”
Avila will immediately assume the position of Communications/Revenue Growth Strategist at the POA, where she will be working with staff members to strengthen communications with property owners and improve the exposure beyond our gates necessary to ensure the survival and success of Hot Springs Village in the years to come.
At this time, with coming Board elections not far away, the Board has no plans to fill the vacancy created by Avila’s resignation.
