HSVPOA Discusses Adding Communications Committee

Addition of communications Committee Discussed by HSVPOA Board

Chair Joanie Corry said, “this will be a Board committee, as the rest of them are. The committee will look for committee members with specific skill sets such as website development and management expertise, social media experience, proficiency with and access to Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, working knowledge, and understanding of various media and communication tools, public relations, and communications. The committee will be looking for specific skill sets, some of which are not currently available to the POA. Corry said this committee will be very valuable to the Village.

This issue was for discussion only and was not voted on at the November Board meeting. It will go on the December Board Meeting Agenda.

Director Tucker Omohundro said he didn’t think anyone would have a problem with this committee.
