Did You Know?

Raised Pavement Markers (RPM’s) and Roadway Striping are some of the most important Road Safety Items for nighttime driving.

Your POA Public Services Department is well aware of the missing Raised Pavement Markers and has plans to replace them. The Hot Springs Village roads lost about 80% of the RPM’s due to the snow plowing operations. It is estimated approximately 30 miles of pavement loss approximately 2500 RPM’s which Public Services plans to replace at $6 per RPM for a total of $15,000.

Roadways scheduled for repairs, repaving, or surface treatment will have the RPM’s installed and restriped after the planned roadway projects are completed. The 2025 resurfacing plan has 7 roadways identified for our 2025 street preservation program. Safety is the Public Services Department’s NUMBER ONE PRIORITY and considers RPM’s and Roadway Pavement Striping a strong safety item for the Resident’s visibility during nighttime driving.

Please drive carefully around Marking and Striping preparation and installation operations.
