BYOB (Bring Your Own Boat) – Kayaks Welcome
LOCATION:
▪ Simply show up at one of our 10 boat ramp locations.
SIGN-IN:
▪ All volunteers must sign in prior to take off.
▪ Sign-in sheets will be available at all boat ramps.
WHAT TO BRING:
▪ Trash bags & disposal gloves will be provided at each boat ramp
(while supplies last).
▪ Extra gloves & trash grabbers if you have them.
▪ Dress for the water, not the weather & don’t forget your life jacket!
WHERE SHOULD I LOOK:
▪ Any shoreline areas along the dam, back of coves, and vegetated areas.
WHAT TO COLLECT:
▪ Any litter or trash (water bottles, cans, cups, styrofoam pieces, pool noodles, chairs, dock bumpers, plastic, fishing line (watch for hooks), tires, dock floats, etc.)
▪ No woody debris or logs.
TRASH DROP OFF LOCATION:
▪ Orange barrel placed at each boat ramp.
▪ Please securely place all collected trash into trash bags.
▪ All trash must be placed at the boat ramp for collection.
