Hello Neighbors in the Fountain Lake School District [FLSD].
Like every other property owner in Arkansas, we are asked to “affirm” our local school district property tax each year. Ours is a bit more confusing since we voters turned down a 5-mill increase to 39 mills for FLSD less than 3 months ago. Don’t be concerned because a closer reading of the proposition that will be on your ballots for the May 24 preferential primary elections concludes, “The total proposed school tax levy of 34.8 mills represents the same rate presently being collected.” So your vote “for” or “against” the school tax on May24 will NOT make a difference in this part of your next property tax bill.

A flyer arrived in toay’s mail. Interesting how many administrators they have, I count 4, not including the rest of the staff. Also a beautiful flyer, wonder how much that cost the Saline taxpayers?
