The Rev. Dr. Keith Hearnsberger is the New Rector at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church

Preparing to mark the 40th anniversary of its founding, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church of Hot Springs Village announces the call of The Rev. Dr. Keith Hearnsberger to serve as the new rector. The Rev. Dr. Hearnsberger’s first services will be on Sunday, January 1, 2023.

“As Hot Springs Village continues to grow in every way, so does our inclusion of all backgrounds and perspectives, embracing all of God’s children,” notes Susan Read, Senior Warden at Holy Trinity. “We are thrilled to offer Father Keith a hearty, warm, and genuine welcome as the fifth rector in our 40 years as a church here in the Village. He is an energetic priest, a sincere and joyful pastor, a spiritually grounded preacher and teacher, a change facilitator, and promises to be an enthusiastic leader.”

Hearnsberger currently serves as vicar of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Little Rock, and is chaplain at St. Francis House, also in Little Rock. He holds a Doctorate in Education (Ed. D.) from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, having majored in educational leadership within music education. Reflecting on his decision to choose a congregation devoted to numerous pastoral and outreach ministries, he also serves as a spiritual leader of the prison ministry across the Episcopal Diocese of Arkansas. A native Arkansan, Hearnsberger presently lives in Little Rock with his spouse Dustyn Spencer.

“Pastoral ministry is my passion, and I look forward to celebrating our Lord and earthly lives with every member and visitor at Holy Trinity,” said Hearnsberger. “I’ve treasured my interaction with members of the congregation so far and look forward to this opportunity to which God has led us.” He hopes to become fully involved with life in Hot Springs Village and all it has to offer.
