Wanna do something really good today?

If you want to make a difference in someone’s life, you can help provide scholarships for graduating senior high school students (Fountain Lake, Jessieville, and Mountain Pine) simply by donating your old and unneeded cell phones and tablets to a great program sponsored by the Hot Springs Village Computer and Technology Club. These items often lie around your home, possibly collecting dust and contributing to clutter.

We take your donations, check them out and ensure your data is removed (sometimes with your help), and then sell them. Facebook Marketplace is our primary sales platform, but we use Nextdoor occasionally.

Donors make this program possible

An old phone or tablet donated is not a minor part of this program – it’s the lifeblood of it.

Our Club is certainly not the biggest source of teen scholarships, but every little bit helps. If we/you can help a teen achieve a higher education or skill training, even in a small way, we have all done something good.

It is Easy to Help

We can pick up your donation, or you can drop it off – call: Pat McCarthy at (832) 338-5925 or David Kirsch at (281) 458-2655.

Hot Springs Village Computer and Technology Club Loves to Serve the Community

This scholarship program, along with our weekly Help Sessions (Apple devices, computers, phones, and tablets), are things our club is proud to provide for the community.

While our motto is “members helping members,” we help anyone.

You can learn about the club and programs at cchsv.org. You may even consider becoming a club member. Our monthly meetings always have a program on some interesting computer or technology issue. How can you go wrong for only a $20 annual membership fee for individuals or families?

Hope to see you! And a special thanks to all who have donated thus far!
