Some Gate Old Cards May No Longer Work – Please Share This Information With Your HSV Friends and Neighbors
The Hot Springs Village Information Technology Department recently replaced the controller boards at the Danville Gate and the East Gate to improve functionality. We discovered that the new boards no longer support older gate cards, as the system does not recognize these cards. If you have a gate card with the HID Corporation logo on the back, as shown in the picture, you will need to come to the POA Administration building and ask for a replacement card. The POA building is open from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday. These HID-branded cards no longer work at the Danville and East Gates and will cease to work at other gates in the future as we replace our controller boards.
Is there a fee to replace old card?
Hi Faye, there is no fee to replace the cards that have the HID logo stamped on the back of the card (as shown in the image in the article). There is a fee to replace cards without the HID log stamped on them. The POA is asking for our patience as they have already replaced quite a few older cards and anticipate replacing quite a few more. Thanks!
