Established in 1985, the Village Card Club is one of the largest member-run card clubs in the United States.
Per the club’s brochure, “The club provides ACBL-sanctioned duplicate bridge, rubber bridge, pinochle, euchre, and cribbage games for players of every skill level.” Arkansas’s only sanctioned cribbage club has classes for players of every level, social or competitive.
The group occupies the Casa de Carta facility at Ponce de Leon Center, 1101 DeSoto Boulevard in Hot Springs Village, where there are regularly scheduled games every day, morning, afternoon, and evening. ACBL duplicate bridge tournaments and Swiss team events are consistently held as well as sanctioned regional and sectional tournaments.
