What a wonderful, magical time of the year Christmas is for children with their heads filled with dreams of Santa flying through the sky, led by flying reindeer, to deliver toys all over the world, with their own expectation of being on Santa’s good list.
But there are also many little children whose eyes don’t grow wide with wonderment or sparkle because Santa doesn’t stop at their house.
For over two decades now, Triple D Realty, Inc., a locally owned, full-service Boutique Real Estate Brokerage, has been the official sponsor and collection center for the Toys for Tykes Annual Campaign. Marian Crowder, owner and broker of Triple D, Inc, had a dream in her own words: “to serve as a light of hope for less fortunate children in our local area to experience Christmas joy despite their circumstances.”
With a Christmas spirit of selfless generosity and loving hearts, HSV Villagers share Marian’s dream and show loyal support every year by donating a toy that a disadvantaged child will be able to open on Christmas morning.
Every year, individuals, churches, community organizations, and neighborhoods congregate to collect new or slightly used Santa-worthy toys that they then drop off to fill Santa’s Sleigh at Triple D, Inc.
This year’s annual Joy of Giving campaign is from Friday, December 1, through Monday, December 19th.
Drop-Off Location: Triple D Realty, Inc. 4107 N Hwy 7, approximately ½ mile south of the West gate entrance
Drop-Off Hours: Santa’s helpers will make every effort to be onsite (12/1 thru 12/19) to collect toys Monday through Thursday, 10 am to 2 pm; Friday, 8:30 am to 4 pm, and Saturday, 9 am to 12 noon.
In the spirit of the Joy of Giving campaign, Marian requests that you remember to pick up a “Christmas Treat” package as our thank you for bringing that sparkle to children who are less fortunate.
