UPDATE: According to Katy Harmon, HSVPOA Lakes Supervisor, in an email dated 10-23-23 (12:27 p.m.), “Lake Isabella Boat Ramp is now OPEN.”
HSV Lake Isabella Boat Ramp Closed
The boat ramp at HSV Lake Isabella has been temporarily closed due to low water levels. When the lake returns to a safe water level for boats and trailers to be launched without risk of damage, the ramp will be re-opened. Please do not move or go around any of the barricades.
Lake Isabella Low Water Level Not Due to Drawdown
The drawdown on HSV Lakes Sophia and Maria began yesterday, Monday, October 2, 2023. As explained here, Hot Springs Villages lakes are drawn down on a rotating basis for silt removal and reducing the aquatic vegetation. The drawdowns also provide improved shoreline access and superior water quality while allowing Hot Springs Village shoreliners to perform maintenance on their existing docks and seawalls or construct new ones.
It was previously stated here to expect boat ramps to be closed when it is deemed unsafe to launch or load boats. The HSV Lakes Management Team closely monitors all lake levels and has determined that it is necessary to close the Lake Isabella Boat Ramp. But Lake Isabella is not experiencing a drawdown.
Caution Advised
With the lack of rainfall, water levels on our lakes are starting to drop more rapidly. HSV Lakes Management would like to encourage boaters to stay alert and use caution while navigating the lakes. Logs, stumps, and other debris may become exposed or dislodged as water levels continue to drop. HSV Lakes Management also encourages boaters to use idle speed when unloading and loading boats at the ramps. The trailer winch should be used instead of the engine power to help prevent erosion at the end of boat ramps.

Thank you all!

Would houses on this lake or any village lake also cause the water levels to go down due to residential water pumping for lawn irrigation purposes?
Will this issue be addressed by BOD in the future?
