Pool Hours
The normal pool hours are:
- Monday – CLOSED ( Except for Holidays)
- Tuesday – 10a – 12 pm, ADULTS ONLY, 21 years & over – 12p to 6p open swim
- Wednesday – 12 – 6 pm open swim
- Thursday – 12 pm- 6 pm open swim – 6 – 8 pm, ADULTS ONLY, 21 years & over
- Friday & Saturday – 11 am- 7 pm – open swim
- Sunday – 1pm – 5 pm – open swim
Rentals
- Private after hours- $250.00/ 2 hour Block (DEPENDENT ON STAFF AVAILABILITY)
- During operation hours – $100 / 2 hour block with upper-deck covered patio reserved. Pool is not closed to public.
- Patrons are permitted to bring in their own cakes for special occasions, such as birthday, anniversary or graduation. Decorations on upper deck in the covered patio area ONLY. ALL food and drink must remain on the upper deck in the covered patio area.
Swim Lessons

NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY
THIS IS A “NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY” FACILITY. ALL PARENTS/GUARDIANS ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR CHILDREN AND BE PREPARED TO ENTER THE POOL, IF NECESSARY.
ANY PATRON WHO DISREGARDS THE RULES MAY BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES.
General Rules
- NO smoking, vaping or use of any tobacco products is allowed. Smoking or use of tobacco is allowed in the parking lot ONLY.
- NO one can enter who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- NO glass containers are allowed.
- NO foul language or verbal abuse is allowed.
- No animals allowed except for service animals.
- Patrons are not allowed in the concession stand or pump house area.
- The HSV outdoor pool facility is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
Bathhouse Rules
- It is recommended by the Arkansas Dept. of Health that ALL patrons take a shower before entering the pool. Inside and outside showers are available for patron use.
- No loitering or “horseplay” is permitted in the bathhouse.
- All cell phone use is prohibited inside the bathhouse (due to privacy issues concerning pictures taken on phones). Make your cell phone calls outside the bathhouse and locker/shower rooms.
Pool Area Rules
- Children ages 15 and under MUST be supervised by a person at least age 18.
- Any adult may bring a child into the pool area while dressed in street clothing, if they have paid admission to enter the facility and stay on the deck. Adults who choose to sit on the side of the pool must be prepared to enter the pool if their child is in trouble.
- Parents/guardians are solely responsible for the safety of the child. NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY.
- All patrons should be prepared to swim at their own risk.
- Swim diapers are required for any child who is not potty trained, patrons are required to use the locker room facilities to change diapers and dispose of diapers properly. Please do not change your child’s diapers/clothes on the pool deck.
- All patrons are required to wear acceptable swim wear; no thongs are allowed. Street clothing is not permitted inside the pool, except for a t-shirt over their swimsuit to protect from sunburn. NO CUTOFFS ALLOWED.
- Persons with open sores are not allowed to swim.
- There will be NO running, pushing, shoving or horseplay in or around the pool. Diving is allowed in designated diving areas ONLY. For safety reasons, there must be NO flips from the side or jumping in backwards. No throwing kids in the pool is allowed.
- Injuries should be reported immediately to the outdoor pool attendant and the pool manager.
- Swimmers will not be allowed to play on the ladders, stairs or rescue equipment.
- Swimmers MUST stay off the ropes.
- Swimmers should face ladders when entering or exiting the pool. The ladders must not be used for diving or sitting.
- Standing or sitting on other swimmers’ shoulders is not permitted.
- Use of toys, flotation devices and diving rings may be restricted at the discretion of the pool staff depending upon safety and how crowded the pool is at the time.
- Water wings are not allowed. Zip-up swimsuits are permitted in the shallow end only. Goggles, snorkels, masks and nose plugs are permitted anywhere except the deep end. No hard balls, Frisbees, water guns, air mattresses, inner tubes, kickboards or sharp objects will be allowed.
Only Coast Guard-approved flotation jackets are allowed. - No towels in the water.
- Petting or necking is not permitted. Grabbing, groping, interlocking or hanging on among swimmers must be restricted; patrons are required to “keep their distance” from each other. Young children with an adult (such as a family member) are an exception.
- Cameras and specialized equipment may only be used with the approval of the pool manager or OPA.
- Patrons are responsible for articles brought into the pool area and for their removal. Valuables should remain in cars or left at home.
- In the case of an emergency, all swimmers will evacuate the pool and the pool area immediately in order to aid the staff in their rescue procedures.
- Failure to follow rules can result in serious injury or may result in a patron being required to leave the pool, pool area and surrounding premises.
- Non swimmers or weak swimmers should remain in shallow water. Parents/Guardians should stay no farther than an arm length from children who cannot swim or are weak swimmers.
- NO STANDING ON THE ROUND BENCH IN SHALLOW END. No jumping off the bench.
- Patrons may be asked to leave the pool/ pool area for weather or other conditions. Pool closes for 30 minutes for lightning and 15 minutes for thunder. No refunds will be issued. One day passes will be given instead of a refund.
- Pool staff has absolute authority over all pool activities.
