Hot Springs Village Police Chief, Kristi Bennett reported, “This evening [Friday, August 30, 2024] a vehicle struck the Balboa entrance gate rendering it inoperable. POA staff have been doing their very best to get the gate operational since the event occurred but unfortunately, the parts required are not expected until possibly Tuesday, September 3rd. Until the Balboa entrance gate is back in operation the gate will remain closed.”
“It should be noted that the Balboa exit gate is still fully operational. We understand this is an inconvenience and is quite frustrating for us all.”
“Your patience and kindness during this closure is greatly appreciated.”
