Hot Springs Village is a welcoming, diverse community with these shared values:
- Sustainability. We treasure our natural environment and conscientiously explore and implement methods and means to maintain and enhance it.
- Security. We value the security and safety offered by our gates and first responders.
- Diversity. We respect the rights, differences, and dignity of all.
- Integrity. We encourage an honest, creative and ethical community.
- Citizenship. We accept and nurture our position and responsibilities with the communities outside our gates.

1. Is the second paragraph of (Proposed) Vision a comment? Who is Pam and who are the “they” she is referencing?
2. I’d like to see leadership listed with specific references to transparency, honesty, respect, and integrity within Village operations. The proposed Mission/Vision statements read as if the Village residents or property owners are the ones that need to pledge or be sworn in. Why was the word “leadership” removed from the “Integrity” bullet?
