On Tuesday, January 16, 2024, the Hot Springs Village Coronado Library will present the opening edition of Movie Night at the Woodlands Auditorium, featuring “80 for Brady.”
You won’t want to miss this 2023 American sports comedy film, produced by former NFL quarterback Tom Brady and starring Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field. It’s a true all-star cast. Based on a true story, the movie portrays the close-knit, lifelong friends – Lou, Trish, Maura, and Betty – traveling to watch the New England Patriots play in Super Bowl LI in 2017.
Their long passage as Patriots fans began in 2001 when they celebrated Lou’s triumphant recovery from chemotherapy.
Follow along on this astonishing journey, hilarity abounding supreme, as the feisty foursome have more fun than you can imagine, immersing themselves in the NFL Experience and more. Much more. I don’t want to give away the plot, so that is all I will say, except this is an evening where you can gather your group of friends (the more, the merrier) and sit back, munch popcorn, sip your drink, and relax as the hilarity ensures.
