Last week concluded our weekly informational articles on the upcoming solar eclipse. However, if you missed anything or have questions, the HSV Camera Club and Village Stargazers will conduct a seminar at the Coronado Community Center at 1:00 p.m. on March 13.

The seminar will recap much of the printed material as well as show examples of equipment that could possibly be used. We will also help with camera settings and equipment setup and answer any questions you may have on viewing or photographing the upcoming eclipse.

At the conclusion, we will venture outdoors onto the patio, where you can see and try various types of equipment that may be used for viewing and photographing or get help with your own.

By conducting the seminar a month in advance of the eclipse, you hopefully will have time to acquire the equipment you may be missing, scout viewing locations, and practice viewing and/or photographing techniques to ready yourself for when the magical day comes.

So bring your notebook, cameras, questions, and also your solar glasses, and join us on March 13 at 1:00 at the Coronado Community Center.

Over the next couple of weeks, we will continue with a couple of recap articles summarizing the key information that has been published over the past couple of months.
