Pending Lawsuit Update
In our April 11 Board Brief, the Board committed to keeping HSV members informed about a pending lawsuit that was being discussed on social media. The POA has now been served with the complaint and has discussed the details of the lawsuit with our team of attorneys. The POA believes that the lawsuit is without merit and will proceed with the defense recommended by our attorneys.
It should be noted that the Board and POA management feel a strong sense of frustration and disappointment that at a time when everyone’s focus should be on the recovery efforts from the March 14th tornado, valuable time and energy is necessarily being spent on this lawsuit and the social media activity surrounding it.
The Board wants to assure our HSV community that the Board and POA management still maintain the tornado clean-up and recovery work as our first and highest immediate priority. At the same time, we continue forward with our overall infrastructure work and planning to ensure a healthy future for our community!
Respectfully provided,
HSVPOA Board of Directors
