Corporate Treasurer and Board Member Jama Lopez gave the July financial report to the Board 0n August 16, 2023. Lopez compared 2023 with 2022, July year-to-date. She said there is a 9% increase in cash and cash equivalents, membership assessments receivable are up $133,000, total assets increased by $9 M, and total liabilities decreased by $2.5 M.

The POA is doing a fantastic job of keeping the promise to spend assessment increase money on infrastructure and “No New Projects.”

Concerning Food and Beverage expenses, a few years ago we were spending $1.9 M a year on Food and Beverage. We should have that number reduced to zero by the end of the year. The number was $47,000 for the first six months of 2023. It is now at $37,000. The number is going down every month.
